Your first trade
Placing one yourself, and letting Lloyd place one for you.
There are two ways a trade happens on XIO: you place it, or Lloyd proposes it and you approve. Both run through the same checks and land in the same journal.
Placing one yourself
Section titled “Placing one yourself”Open the Perps tab, pick a market, and choose a direction. Set your size and leverage, review the order, and submit.
Manual trading is a full execution environment, not a fallback. Order types, leverage control, and position management are all there, and using them does not interfere with Lloyd.
Try itOpen the Perps tabMarkets, the order form, and position management. Orders run against the simulated venue until live execution is switched on.
Letting Lloyd propose
Section titled “Letting Lloyd propose”In supervised mode — the default — Lloyd does not trade on its own. It proposes, and the proposal reaches you with what it saw, what part of your plan applied, and what it wants to do.
Approve it and the trade runs the same gates as one of yours. Decline it and nothing happens, and the decline is recorded with the rest.
Nothing expires into a trade. If you never answer, the proposal is not executed — a supervised mode that acts when you go quiet is not supervised.
Reading what happened
Section titled “Reading what happened”Every fill appears in your journal alongside the reasoning that led to it. Positions, orders and P&L sit on the Perps and Home surfaces.
If a proposal was refused by a gate, that is in the journal too, with which gate refused it and why.
