FAQ

The questions people actually ask.

No. Your funds sit in a vault wallet that only you can withdraw from, and the agent’s wallet has no withdrawal path at all. A compromise of XIO’s systems cannot move your funds out.

This is a guarantee about custody, not about outcomes. You can still lose money trading — see Trading risk.

You keep your vault. It is your wallet, not an account balance on our ledger. You keep control of it independently of us, and the agent’s signing authority can be revoked at the exchange without our involvement.

No, and we will never ask you for one. Recovery works by linking a second login method to your account. If anyone claiming to be XIO asks for a seed phrase or private key, they are not XIO.

Not by default. New accounts start supervised: Lloyd proposes and waits for you. You can grant more independence in settings, and that is an explicit, signed choice.

A proposal you never answer is never executed.

Yes, and it is a first-class part of the product. The Perps surfaces are a full execution environment. Manual and agent trades share the same checks and the same journal.

It is where serious perps traders already are — the deepest on-chain liquidity and the most active book. We would rather meet an existing behaviour than manufacture a new one.

Five things, all refused in code. Withdraw funds, move money between your accounts, exceed the budget you set, trade markets outside your plan, or change its own permissions. Those refusals run before anything is signed. The full table is on Your wallets.

Not decided yet. Fees are being finalised ahead of launch and will be documented here before anyone is charged.

Yes. Your Trading Plan is yours. Nothing is published or shared with other users unless you choose to.

What if Lloyd does something I did not expect?

Section titled “What if Lloyd does something I did not expect?”

Start with the journal entry — it records what Lloyd saw, which rule applied, and why it acted. If the behaviour was inside your plan but not what you meant, the plan needs tightening. If it was outside your plan, that is a bug and we want to hear about it.
